Baxter and I (along with our kitchen remodel) got an article in the L.A. Times.
If you're not in L.A., you can check it out online:

Baxter stalked the poor L.A. Times photographer the whole time she was in the house. He's not a fan of new people. This is probably his third appearance in a publication and he's becoming a bit of a pain. He's in negotiations to appear in Vanity Fair after the first of the year and Annie Leibowitz has had it with him!

Oh my gosh, kitchen is absolutely fantastic. I would love to hang in there. Very welcoming. You have the very best style.

Loved last night's show. Gordon and Lisa (French) were so cute and the homeowners were so touched at the beautiful transformation.

I cannot wait until next season's shows.

Take care,

Angelo, Your kitchen is it! I especially love your hutch and, and well of course, your stove. Jacob is into vintage lighting and appreciates your choices and thought it was well worth the price you paid. Overall, it turned out fabulous! Well be looking forward to that Christmas special. Give Baxter a hug for us! ~ Robyn (and Jacob)

Hi Lori Bee,
Thank you and no worries on mentioning my chair obsession. I have no shame with it. The more we all share our chair/design obsessions, the more other will feel comfortable to share theirs.
Have a great weekend,

Fantastic kitchen and the stove and hutch are the icing on the cake. It was exciting to take a journey into your own home project.

So glad to see the red stove you told me about in "its" home. Fabulous. I really like the look of the cabinets being off the floor, too. No icky crevices to trap dust bunnies. Clean lines and welcoming, too. Perfect combination. Why not tile all the way up the wall? Makes sense to me. Thanks for sharing with those of us not in L.A.

Awsome kitchen the six burner Ferrari! (uh, I mean stove).
How did you manage to elevate your dishwasher so its hight matches the rest of kithen?
PS-I know this sounds crazy but baking soda toothpaste works pretty well to get out stains on marble (specially coffee)

Thanks for the "heads up" on the baking soda Nancy. I am a fan of the baking soda. The dishwasher was positioned on a simple "box" that I had built and then I had the box covered in similar metal to match the metal finishes like the lights and pulls.

Thank you kindly for your permission and I will continue to edit and work on the room til my "unrelated" chair works. :)Thanks, Lori
