happy thanksgiving to all...

Wishing everyone and the people you celebrate with the best of Holidays!

Like many others, this is one of my favorite times of year and Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorite things about the Season.  So much to love about it and as always, more stuff to be thankful for than I can even begin to mention.

Enjoy the Holiday.

I hope this post doesn’t seem too weird, or TMI but here goes….

One of the many things that I’m thankful for this year is you. Here’s why. Not only have you inspired me to paint my bathroom and bedroom (landlord says as long as they are white when I vacate all’s well), you’ve also been a source of comfort. This past September I was in Milwaukee to meet with a prospective client. As I was leaving the meeting, fatigue, dehydration and anemia formed the ‘perfect storm’ and I fainted. I wound up spending the night in a local hospital. So, there I was, in a state where I literally knew no one, far from home. I was nervous and apprehensive. Later that evening, I turned on the television and an episode of RMS (Russell and Yvette) was on. Watching it, I felt a calming, ‘at-home’ feeling that let me relax enough to eventually fall asleep.

I know that in the scheme of all things, my experience wasn’t huge, but I’m grateful that I could find a bit of ‘home’ while I was miles away. Thank you for choosing to share yourself with all of us! Have an amazing holiday!

You are my favorite designer and TV personality of all time! No, seriously. It takes a lot to be talented, creative and TV savvy enough to balance all that goes into designing for the world of TV production. You make it look easy and I know it's anything but! Hope your Thanksgiving and Holidays are filled with many joyous moments.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all your great Holiday wishes!

It is REALLY a thrill for me to do what I get to do for my job, and the fact that people actually watch is still a bit unreal to me. It always feels like we're making a home movie that's just for us (the crew and homeowner's).

May this Holiday be the beginning to more joy in your lives.
