thank you...

When I checked into my room in D.C. I walked in and found 3 beautifully gift wrapped boxes on the bed.

3 boxes of chocolate!

It was a "welcome to D.C." gift from my friends (who obviously have great taste) Ed & Diana.

Now I have a new place to fuel the marvelous addiction. Not only was the chocolate quite tasty, but the packaging is simple and beautiful.

I love boxed gifts like this. What thoughtful friends. And I loved reading about your trip to Washington. Not many of my friends share my sense of hope for our new president so your excitement was nice for me to share.

Angelo, The packaging is so beautiful. I would have had trouble ripping it apart. Oh, I forgot, You said it was Chocolate!!! Here's the plan...Take it apart very carefully. Indulge in all that chocolate goodness. Rewrap all the boxes and then place them on a pretty table. OK, I feel much better about it now.
Enjoy DC.

You all seems to have have good taste when it comes to chocolate, HA!

It's hard to choose a favorite since there are so many great companies (big & small) making some amazing treats.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend and Paul P, you have a great blog as well!

Hello Angelo,

Well, there goes my new years resolution! I've always been partial to Bonnat, were it not so expensive, I'd have them all the time.

You are baaaad Mr. Surmelis. BAD! Now I HAVE to go buy some. I will blame you during this summer's bathing suit fiasco that is sure to take place.

LOVE the stuff!

Regardless that it may be a tad addictive; I vote for campaigning against the propaganda that says it has negative psychoactive properties. SMILES.....
