have you been... Tuscany?

It's on my short list of places and these pictures from the TASCHEN book "tuscany style"
make me anxious for time off.
A BIG chunk of time off.
When is that happening again?

Well, the pics and book will definitely do for now.
Some of them don't even look real.
They look like vintage Italian paintings.

A small plate of pasta with a great Italian olive oil would help a little too.

pack a large suitcase, i would like to be a stow-a-way.

why am i drawn to all the pink funiture and details? not usually a pink person, maybe it's the shade and what it's surrounded by.

I have had the good fortune to spend time there. Visited a local ceramics company while in Tucany and fell in love with their work and had handpainted dishes made. I've been to many places in Italy and would love to go back again and again.

Sometimes a virtual vacation is all we get at the moment. I hope you get some time out soon.

Oh, I wish I could say "YES". It is a place that I would love to visit.

Tuscany is one of the many decor styles I love and I note in the pictures you posted.....there is Wallpaper....(which you know I have a weakness for).

Do hope that the opportunity for you to holiday there is sooner than you expect. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

You have done it again! Great pics and wonderful food - pasta, cheese, chocolate ... Have you considered a show on the Food Network? Hope you get to travel soon.

I only get Tuscany when I watch the movie Under the Tuscan Sun but it looks beautiful. Do you ever think that there are just not enough rooms in the average little home to decorate in all the wonderfully different ways they could be decorated?

I love the pink furniture, and the decor. I love Toscana. I went to Sicily for a week and I loved it. The food is yummy as well. I love your blog.

Hi Angelo! Oh, I hope you get to go to Tuscany, too! We've been to Italy a few times, but never inside an individual's home! Just hotels! But love the place and we were there at a time wild strawberries were being served in all the eateries! Man, my favorite thing! Little tiny berry that tasted so sweet and almost like sweet cream in the center of them. Thanks for the memories.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I often find that a few indulgences, such as high-quality olive oil, are the key to a good life. I still have not been to Tuscany, but I wish to do so soon.

I want to go to!

You really should consider some kind of Food Network show. Food seems to be in your lineage and blood. I'd watch.
