thank you...

the "garbo" love seat version of the chair.
it will also come with two wine colored, velvet throw pillows.
the vine pattern will also be available in other colors.
will retail for $399.

THANK YOU for posting your 7 things and for support about mine.
Some of you are still a hold out.  You know who you are and I'm waiting.

ALSO, I can't thank all of you enough for your incredible support about the announcement of my new upholstered furniture line.  WOW!  I am overwhelmed & humbled.  I promise to share as much info with you as possible as the retail deals are signed and product is available.  Some of that has already happened and we have to wait to for all the pieces to be in place before announcements can be made.  Hang tight.  It's cool stuff.

The roll out will be gradual with appox. 20 upholstered pieces making their debut before the year is over.  I should personally have one of each piece available for the initial roll out in about six weeks and then I will get busy getting each one photographed and ready for market.

The ultimate goal is for angelo: HOME to be a place to be.

A place that fits the way we live.  All of us want style and lifestyle without having to make huge sacrifices.  The way we live should be a natural extension of who we are and not a burden.  I have always believed and still do, that style is not about a price tag or a specific name.  It is about individual, creative expression and I hope that this line can help you do that.  I have built it to mix and match, stand alone pieces and pieces that allow for personal style.  Add a vintage throw pillow to one of the chairs, drape a beloved family throw over a love seat and definitely put your feet up on an ottoman.

I will be always working on evolving the line, premiering new pieces, colors, fabric and styles. It will be exciting and interesting for me to see what you relate to and what you want and need. I am committed to putting shippable, affordable, stylish furniture out there.

This is the stuff I have wanted to see my whole life.  More than just furniture...a place to be.

Now you're just being cruel. I want a set. Is the chair going to be avail in solid fabrics? Two chairs in solid or leather and that loveseat, I'm good to go. I have the perfect rug for this. OH, I CAN'T WAIT! How much is the loveseat ging to cost?

Anonymous said...

OH NO you didn't! I just love this. "Thank you!" for giving us a "place to be" in such a stylish way. Can't wait.

Great, now I have another piece I want. I knew it.

It is probably better that I don't see anymore pieces. I will have no room in my home for me. Maybe I can rent out the house and the ANGELO HOME showroom!

So it looks like we're getting closer. This loveseat is quite stunning. I am excited as well to see the other fabric options. I would love to mix things up and do a couple different prints. I'm not afraid of color either.

Good Morning Angelo - I loved that last line..."more than just furniture..." That should be part of your marketing. Maybe it already is! (if so them I'm so smart!) LOL Haha!

Ok, here are my quickie 7:
(who am I kidding I gab too much to be quick)
1) My family and I had the pleasure of living in Brussels, Belgium for 3 yrs.
2) I have about 18 sets of dishes and counting.
3) I became a police officer right after my first very abusive marriage and taught self defense to abused women. (yea, I can kick ur arse!) LOL
4) I went to Cordon Bleu, and appeared on the Food Network. (i am deterned to try out for Next Food Network Star)
5) My Aunt went to Juliard and was a world class opera singer, and my Uncle worked on Broadway and dated Ingrid Bergman. (we have some of their "love" correspondence)
6) I love fabrics. I could spend hours and hours in a fabric store.
7) I think I was a scullery maid, etc and drowned on the Titanic. (yea, thats wierd I know)

I am so excited about your furniture line and happy that you are seeing one of your dreams come true. I wish you nothing but the best. Blessings, Barb

I have read several blogger talking about RMS and kept asking what is this? Well finally some one took pity and explained it was Rate My Space and how it worked. So I went out on my cable and found some of the shows ready for instant viewing and who should be on RMS but you! And how sweet and down to earth you are and what amazing rooms you do. I also checked out the internet spot and what fun to look at kitchens since I am going to try painting my cabinets this summer. I am honored that you are one of my followers, and my only guy. What a fun adventure finding out all about you. Also shared your story with my teacher hubby.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

I love the name 'Garbo' as much as the design. So appropriate if relating to Greta who was the 'ultimate star' of Hollywood's Golden Age era. Classy and a classic!

Anxiously awaiting!

Well, like most people I am very interested in this loveseat and the chair. I think you are onto something here. I can find furnishings that are priced well and I can find stylish stuff as well. That combination is not that easy. If you accomplish that along with well made, nothing boring yet not too out there, and a great marketing plan you will be hugely successful. No pressure there.

It looks like you're already on the right path.

Once again I'm late with the posting but I've been in the hospital for the past 13 days with pneumonia (I did get my vaccine!). Anyway, I'm SO HAPPY at the news that you're starting your own line. I can't wait to purchase the loveseat! (Especially if it's available it eggplant!) I wish you all the success you can handle. And then a small sprinkle more!

I am already in LOVE with this loveseat! The lines and the fabric combo is genius and I cannot wait to see what other colors are available. THANK YOU for this and for this price!

Is it wrong to love a piece of furniture? Is it wrong to love it more because it came from you? Hmmm, so many questions that will hopefully be answered soon.

Great name and great looking stuff. Congratulations and looking forward to seeing the whole line.

Congratulations on your new line of furniture, Angelo :-) Will it be available in Canada??

SO thrilled to hear how excited and supportive you all are about this. I have to tell you, it's a dream to be able to design, problem solve & figure how this all works when you're trying to combine price, style and ease of availability..THE FACT that you guys are into it, is so cool!

To answer your question Kelly, we are working with a few different Canadian retailers. The US deal are just being signed and once they are up and running we can focus on Canada. I have a huge love for the great North. I lived in Toronto for a year and have visited many of the big cities up there. It's absolutely beautiful and lots of great home design!

I am so in love with this love seat. I have a small cottage home and I am torn between getting this as part of my seating area in the living room or as a seat at the foot of my bed. Do you have the dimensions? Consider me one of your first customers. It will either be this with 2 of the chairs (in a solid color, if they come like that) for the main room or just this for the bedroom. Either way, YAY!
