vegas baby...

I am in Las Vegas till Tuesday night.

It is a work related trip and I hope to share something about this venture with you all soon.

It's good stuff.

How about that vintage B&W Vegas photo?
It's almost impossible to imagine it like that because of how it is now.

VIVA Las Vegas!

I love the B/W Vegas photo! I was raised in Huntington Beach, most of my life, and only went to Vegas once. I'll never forget, my parents brought home one of those amber colored Golden Nuget Hotel ashtrays in the 1960's. I wish I had that today. Have fun and be safe.

Is that old Vegas sign still there?
I've never been to Los Vegas - I have a friend who goes regularly and is working on me convincing me to join her for a weekend trip. I think I'll have to go :-)
Looking forward to hearing more about the project you're working on, Angelo!

That B&W photo of Vegas is great! The place definitely does have a history.

If it is your first time there, hope you have the opportunity to visit the Fremont District and drop in on the Grand Dame of casinos; 'The Golden Nugget'.
I understand she was the first one that was built for the Tourist Gambling Industry.

(Not sure if Tim or Tom are still managing it, but if Tommy is there he will chat up a storm with you, if you ask for him and he's available. To explain would be....a long story....but my dtr. and SIL can both vouch, for being a multimillionaire "he is really a down-to-earth type guy". Though I've been to Vegas I never met him myself.)

Am anxious to hear about 'your' venture. Don't work tooooo hard!

Hi again, Angelo! I know you're the busiest one and all, but I tagged you to play a little game if you want to. If you can't, it's okay! I was just thinking it would be fun to hear of 7 things we probably don't know about you!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

The new hotels are pretty incredible. It's not the gambling that takes my cash, it's all the new restaurants.

Hi Angelo...

Wow...looks like Vegas was a hoot! I hate to admit it but I've never been there!

Well my friend, I am so excited about your new furniture line...can't wait till this summer to see it! BTW...that black & white chair would be perfect in my new little frenchy toile studio/office! It's gorgeous and very affordable!!! I wish you the very best in your endeavors!
