a favorite...

all photos from: www.flor.com

If you've watched any of my shows, you've seen me use FLOR.

LOVE IT.

I am NOT being paid to say that. Seriously. We've bought their product for use on many of my shows and I have used it because I have wanted to, even in my own home. It's just practical, eco-friendly (made with renewable & recyclable materials) and my favorite is....I can control the look. Create custom looks, sizes and switch up the style and look just by replacing a few tiles or adding a border. It can be traditional, contemporary, classic or funky.

Cruise their web site and see what's available and what you can create.
From elegant living spaces to down and dirty practical garages.
Martha Stewart even has a line with them. She's everywhere.

All good stuff.

I just received an e-mail from FLOR -- free shipping on all orders for the next 5 days :-)

We're planning to use FLOR tiles (or something similar) in our basement after we pull up the wall-to-wall carpeting. I love that you can create your own pattern, and if a tile gets damaged or stained, it's easy to replace. Plus they're environmentally friendly -- cool stuff all around :-)

Bookmarked and browsed the site. Very interesting concept and great selection! (Nice to see they ship to Canada.)

Question(s) on flooring if you wish to answer it Angelo: Have you ever seen a room done with a Hardwood Floor perimeter (border) but with a professionally layed Carpeted insert? (ie: Instead of an area rug on top of the H/W.)
If so, what is your opinion per same? (ie: Nay or Yea) THANK YOU!

I do love FLOR. I've seen you use it many times and I had always been tempted every time I get their catalogue, but would always play it safe. I saw you use it a couple of times and then you did a foyer on "24 Hour Design" on HGTV with it and that was it! I was sold. it all looked so beautiful. I figured it was a "sigh." HA! I had seen it on a number of your different shows and always liked the way it looked and that episode just did it. I now have it in my living room, bedroom and in my office. It is fantastic. In my bedroom I went wall to wall.

Mrs.Ben,

I have seen that look. I saw it at a client's home many years ago and I thought it was a really original and slightly avant-garde idea. The only problem I had with it, in that particular application, was that it thought it was not very well executed. It looked cheap. I think if done well, it could be pretty cool.

Best,
Angelo

THANK YOU so much Angelo. As I've never seen it done, I appreciate your input stated above. It had been suggested to me (for a Family Room area) but I think I shan't even risk it.

Thank you for the link to this company. I saw you use them in an episode of 24-HR Design, but didn't get where I could purchase. They provide the perfect solution for my ice-cold apartment-linoleum flooring.

OT: Disney v. Magic Mountain? Discuss... :-)
(when I visit friends insist on Magic Mountain and refuse to go to Disney...maybe you can help me with my argument to go...)

I LOVE your show! Bring it to the midwest. We adore you here. I saw a sneak peak of your new furniture. I won't tell you how, I don't want to get anyone in trouble. OMG! I want it all. Congratulations on that and the new season.
