episode 110 on HGTV 8:30pm

This episode is one of many that had me feeling so great about what we have the privilege of doing...making people happy. It was a great reveal and a fun episode to shoot, but it was really HOT! No REALLY! My carpentry team (Jared, Danny & Rupert) had to endure the hot, beating sun while they broke up concrete and built a deck and pergola. They did an awesome job!

I loved it! Orange is one of my favorite colors :)
Making people happy, the reason for my career change!
I just scheduled the episode on my DVR so I can enjoy it during "naptime" Thanks for the heads up.

I loved this episode. I seen it a few times and the use of space, color and overall design make me so envious! I want that patio. The homeowners were very cute.
This was a great episode! Looking forward to seeing it again. LOVED the color and the whole layout.
Such a fabulous patio space :-) The colour scheme is great -- the orange adds a fun, fresh hit of colour :-) Love the touches of black & white too :-)
Is there a name for the pattern on the rug?? I couldn't find it on the C&B web site. I have a cushion with the same pattern -- I love it, but I have no idea what it's called, so I don't know how to get more of it!!

This is one episode that I was able to view online and is also my favourite. Jared certainly did work his magic. It was beautiful!
I want this patio!!!
GENIUS.
Feel free to stop by my sad little patio ANYTIME!
You are consistently the best thing on the network! This was an incredible makeover.
Just saw it. WOW! Incredible work.
Just finished watching it as well. I loved the whole look. The color and furniture choices were spot on and you can never go wrong with redwood. Wonderful job.
I Tivo all the episodes since my work schedule is so erratic. That way I don't miss them. And I've saved so many because they featured some of my favorite people on RMS. I have to say I went into a total tizzy today when I saw you stopped by my blog. I wish I'd known you were coming....I would have made the bed and cleaned up the place! I also would have posted classy, chic pictures of something...anything...instead of pictures of hairy babies and guys with duct tape thongs! Even with my red face...I'm still THRILLED beyond words to know you came by. What a rush! It made me feel just like I did the day I opened up HGTV's home page and saw my red guest bedroom on the front page. Great moments in time! Thanks so much. And keep up the wonderful work on the show. It is such a fun series!
NEVER miss an episode and this one is definitely one of my faves. YOU ROCK HARD!!!
Well, whenever you're done making home improvement ever so watchable TV and being so talented and adorable what do you do for fun and relaxation?
Your makeovers are incredible. Love your shows.
DesignTies,
The rug was bought last summer (2008) and it went os sale shortly after I bought it. Haven't seen it at C&B since. West Elm, Pottery Barn, Smith & Hawken all carried their own version of that rug. There was even a knock off on the Target.com site.
Good Luck and thank you all for your great comments about this episode!

WOW! You are like a magician. We watch every week and always turn to each other and say, "There's no way he can make this all work." Every week, you prove us wrong, even when it's not our style!
Thank you for your joyful inspiration.
Holy cow...this space was INCREDIBLE!!! :)
