pizza...

photos: bon appetit-antonis achielleos

Just got the new issue of bon appetit magazine. There's an article on a pizza party. Pizza? Party? Really? No brainer. I'm there.

Great recipes, easy to do and this is a great way to bring people together. Everyone gets their own dough, a glass of wine and get to choose their own sauce & toppings. Who doesn't love this?

Oooooooooooh! YES! I want to come to this pizza party. If you get the new couch, you REALLY need to throw a party.

It would be fun if everyone got in on the pizza making and I would put them on the grill. Yummy!!

Pizza is the perfect food -- it's got grain, dairy, meat, veggies... all the food groups are covered :-)

What a fantastic idea!!
I love anything that you can personalize.....my hubs never can get onions on his pizza with me (sorry onion lovers, I just don't have it in me).

Make them lil minis and have cookies for dessert!!

These look so good. I loves me the pesto. So, my perfect evening? A pesto pizza, a bottle of a good red wine and you as my date. I have a HUGE crush on you.

Will you stop writing about food. I weigh a thousand pounds already!!! I'm hungry.

Glad to see that people are into the whole idea of pizza & a party and even some that have done it.

Mariafer's combo includes champagne (nothing wrong with that).

Imjacobsmom does a BBQ version, sound way too tasy.

DesignTies even has a recipe.

Jill takes it to the next level with cookies and speaks directly to my immense sweet tooth.

Tom wants me to stop writing about food. THAT will never happen.

I read the article and I had to come back to say, it's a good idea. Almost as good as the cookie party.

Ok, well, will you give Tom and ma a break by limiting your food posts to, say, every other Friday!! LOL!! I get hungry just thinking about the yumminess that you feature!

Actually, the pizza in this post looks like pizza for grown-ups! Love it.

We do the same thing at our house on Movie Night. When it's warm enough here in DC we invite friends, family and neighbors to dinner and a movie. Pizza night was a big hit.
