It has been unseasonably hot in Los Angeles. I am not a fan of the heat. I know, it's a "dry heat" though I do believe it has become much more humid over the years. Granted, it is not the hot, sticky and gross summers of Chicago & NYC where I spend many years trying to cool off anyway I could. What was really enjoyable were the very defined change of Seasons. I am one of the weirdos that enjoys Fall & Winter.
So, as I was driving from one meeting to another my mind raced (it could have been my third iced Americano) to all the places I would miss if I moved from Los Angeles. I have been giving this thought much attention as of late due to some new and exciting developments (will speak of these at a later date when appropriate). There are other cities I would like to work & live.
One of those places is DEAN. A very small but perfectly situated leather goods & acceessories store in the Silver Lake section of L.A. It's next to all sorts of great little shops, restaurants, coffee houses and a fantastic gelato place across the street. A wonderful, eclectic mix. If you're ever is L.A., check that area out. Cafe Stella, almost next door to Dean, is a wonderful little place to have dinner as well.
My leather satchel that I carry on "Rate My Space" is from there as is my green wallet.
I would miss DEAN. I could always visit, or shop on line.
