i'm off...

I do not have a lap top.

Believe me. I get grief from everyone about this. From the people I work with to my friends and family. I have been avoiding it forever. I have an iPhone (and probably will be getting the new one in NYC) but the idea of getting a lap top would just take my already slightly workaholic personality and push it over the edge. I have no life beyond my work as it is right now (It's by choice-No complaints) but I feel that if I had a laptop it would get a bit more out of control.

I say this because I am leaving for NYC tomorrow with a couple of days in BOSTON first and this may be my last entry till I get back (June 30th). I have time wait-listed an entry (for Sat a.m.) of resources for the new episode of "Rate My Space" that will air this Saturday.

Making a blog entry on your iPhone isn't all that fun.

Now, that being said, I will more than likely be going into the Mac store in Manhattan this weekend to purchase the new iPhone and maybe, just maybe...I will finally give in to the uber crazy workaholic little "angel" that has been sitting on my shoulder whispering in my ear about the benefits of a MacBook. I can't promise anything either way. Will keep you posted.

I'm off kids...

Enjoy your trip. Make the most of it! Take NYC by storm and try not to move too much furniture or break too many hearts and have lots of treats.

be safe & travel well. You'll love your laptop - truly. I can relate to workaholic stuff. having laptop makes it easier 4 me but I have to be diligent about painting time/mktg time/family time. not always easy for us creative 'geeks'.
looking forward to your next post.

Have an amazing time and the lap top will be great, but I am warning you now-it WILL be a time zapper. If you have the "workaholic" gene, it's all over. Have fun.

I think I'm going to suggest to my husband that we get a (shared) laptop in celebration of our anniversary in August. He mentioned not too long ago that he'd like one ...

Enjoy what technology has to offer. And the best of the best is at the Apple Store in Manhattan.

Just think of the videos you can take with the new iPhone (which is why I ordered one too). And you can upload your photos & videos quite easily onto your MacBook! Think of it as your blogging tool vs. a working tool. Have fun!!!

Have a great trip, Angelo! We will miss your updates. And if you give in and get a Macbook, we won't hold it against you!

Okay.... I am going to pretend I'm the other little Angel on your shoulder, whispering "Angelo, have a safe and productive trip BUT please take a vacation soon. Maybe even go and visit your Mother.".

Don't do it! Don't get the lap top. As much as I would like constant blog updates, I don't think it's safe for a workaholic. Enjoy the trip.

I hope that you are enjoying your trip so far and get some "city life." If you wind up running away and living in NY would you live in the city?

The laptop won't make your work any easier or harder, but if you're going to get a laptop, get a macbook.
