Oh, Angelo... Don't you know freezer food is bad for your girlie figure?

At least you went with TJ's ;) And I'm a little jealous of your dessert. Hehehee.

Well, I think your "girlie figure" is just fine. Real fine. ANytime you want to come over and make some frozen food for me and design something, go for it. I'll make dessert.

If you can't make anything, TJ's is the way to go. They have great stuff. Ever since we moved out of L.A. it's the one thing we miss. Love your blog!

Have you ever had southern-style Red Velvet? Its frosting has a flour base, so it's not as sweet as the cream cheese based frosting. I like it better because it allows the taste of the chocolate to be more pronounced. I'd love to hear your opinion on it.

Please, please, please leave a message for us in Greek! It's not a language that we get to hear every day and would love to hear a sample!! *getting up off of bended knee* *S*

Jessie

PS. I called NY to let them know you're on the way. I think they might have something special planned for you!!

Yes, I have had the Southern version and it's delicious. I like both versions, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

As far as the "speaking of the Greek." I feel a bit odd doing it for the sake of doing it. I don't know....odd. Also, since I am not surrounded by Greeks and don't speak it in my daily life (except for when I call my Mom back in Greece) I feel more American than Greek.

BUT, feel free to watch "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" to hear some of the language of my peeps in action. LOL!

Best,
A

Hi Dodi,

Welcome to the blog and thanks for watching the show. I'm sorry about your kitchen. As you saw from my before photos, I can totally relate. The show is shot in Southern California since that is where the production co is located. Also, HGTV and the production co are responsible for the casting so you may want to plead your case with them:

All the best,
