on the road again...

How has your Summer been winding down? Are you into Fall with everything you got or are you somehow hanging on to a little bit of the Summer vacation still? In Southern California, it always feels a little like Summer. The weather doesn't always allow for the definite separation of Seasons. I'm not complaining. It's very nice, but I do miss Fall. It's my favorite Season and I'm hoping to get some flavor of that since I'm doing a little traveling.

It seems like I just got back to L.A.

I'm off once again, but with good reason. First stop, Las Vegas for the Furniture Market. We're meeting with some new retailers for the upholstered furniture as well as introducing a new line of bedroom furniture. Bedding is also on the way and that's being presented in NYC as I write this. Las Vegas will be fun, but I doubt I'll be experiencing Fall in all it's glory there...

...But then it's off to NYC to appear on NBC's Today Show on Fri., Sept 18th during the 9am hour (probably with the lovely and talented Natalie Morales) where I'll talk about the budget makeover I did for Deb & Harris (loyal Today Show viewers) and show the results. It's my first appearance on the show so I'm excited and a little nervous. I'm not gonna lie to you. Good times. Hope you can tune in. I'm there for about 5 glorious, work filled days, but there's a chance there might be a bit of Fall in the air and I'm looking forward to it and of course all tat NYC offers. God, I love that city--all of it--even the stuff that makes people cranky about New York. I find endearing. I will be partaking in java, snacks, pizza and may visual pleasures...

...Before it's back to Seattle (hello coffee & donuts) for a meeting with Costco to discuss some new angelo:HOME products that will be available to their members in the coming months and for 2010.

I should be back home on the 23rd, but that's only for a week or two---I know that October has some new travel plans already brewing and I think they're going to be pretty swell.

Enjoy your week.

Have fun on The Today Show! It has been great here in NYC. You will love it, of course. When are you just moving yourself over here. You're a New Yorker at heart.

Also, you should do a traveling makeover segment for the Today Show. Can't wait to see it.

OK, A bedding bedding line?! That's so cool, but how do you narrow down which fabrics to use? And don't be nervous, I think the Today's Show is probably nervous to interview you. :)
Have a good time in Vegas, and then go find some Fall.
Thanks for coming by to see the chair.

Can't wait to see you tomorrow on the Today show. I know you're going to just knock it out of the park. You are so natural on camera: informative, creative, charismatic, without the crazy-distracting hand gestures that some people overdo. You never seem nervous or out of your element.

Break a leg!

If I didn't love you already, OMG how cool are you on the TODAY SHOW?! You owned. The rooms turned out incredibly, of course. You are made this and network TV should be your next step. Perfect.

The stripes rock. (As does sourcing a Queens garage sale.)
