this is too good...

I'm not sure what inspired this combo, but I was having a glass of pinot noir the other day and there on the countertop in my kitchen was a tin of WALKER'S pure butter shortbread cookies. I took one out and dunked in my wine. Yup. Totally uncouth. It tasted amazing. AMAZING.
Hello my new favorite treat. I've now taken to dipping them in wine, plating them with fresh whipped cream and berries. It works well with Port but it's sweeter. I prefer the wine. BTW, if you haven't had WALKER'S pure butter shortbread cookies from Scotland, you must. I usually get them at my local grocery store until I discovered the giant tin at my local Costco.
Good times. Happy weekend everybody!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Walker pure butter Short Bread Cookies!
Have a great weekend! Enjoy your treat and stay off of your foot as much as possible. Sprained ankles take longer than a break to heal :-/
Oh and I have found Thera Flu (?) liquid, day time or night time kicks butt on colds :-)
Take it easy! :-)

Angelo,

You are a nut! Who else would come up with such a combination? Don't know if I'm brave enough to try it, but I admire your creativity! Enjoy!

I am so bummed! You came to Santa Barbara on saturday and I was in Redondo Beach...I would have loved running in to you...my favorite designer. I hope your ankle is getting better. Sorry I have not had a chance to upload a picture of my living room so you could see how I used the brown renu ottomans and the lotus hepburn loveseat...when I removed the carpet the hardwood floor turned out the a nightmare...I have to put new flooring in. Which I also need to have the electricity worked on...headaches but once its all works out I will post a picture.
