inspired...

When inspired design meets the use of what may be thought of as ordinary materials in a new way, then something special happens.

Marianna Kennedy, a London designer finds a way to merge art, design, classic techniques, and sometimes everyday materials like plastic into a new enviable inspiration.

Enjoy.

I browsed their gallery. Unfortuntely they don't give product descriptions.

Love the 'red' Console Table! Am wondering if it is finished in the ancient Japanese Lacquer technique called "Negoro Nuri". Also curious about their blinds.
Plastic or paper-backed fabric? (The latter, similar to that once 'commonly' used in Hardbound Book Covers.)

Either way, I agree with you Angelo they are worth envying. Super collaboration of old and new ideas! -Brenda-

(Hope this doesn't go thru a hundred times, as I had difficulty logging on. If it did, I apologize.)

Yet another fab post; keep 'em coming! How could you have known I was in the market for just such a special mirror? (That first one, mm.) Thanks for this much-appreciated tip, Angelo.

I am now officially in love with bright colors. I didn't think they could look so classic and timeless. Really beautiful pieces.
