dream home...

Sandra Foster's dream home doesn't include a bathroom or a kitchen.

It was a complete labor of love to turn it into her personal
shabby-chic retreat.

She lives, with her husband, across the river in their mobile home that does include a bath and kitchen, but this place is truly inspiring.

She did the renovation and furnished it herself for $3,000.

These type stories should be on TV.
This is inspiring, real life design by people that fight for everything they have and those stories should be told.

You can read all about it as well as see some before and after pics, along with the trailer she shares with her husband, here: NYTimes

Wow. Talk about a girly retreat. And to think I just hide in the bathroom when I want to be alone. I need to dream bigger.

How enchanting! Reminds me of a little cottage that you may find in a children's story book. (Hansel and Gretel come to mind). -Brenda-
