the best part of my job...

"Opportunities abound.
They're everywhere."

When we launched angelo:HOME one of the biggest discussions was really about “WHY?”

Do we need more stuff just for the sake of stuff? Personally, I don’t think so. I think what was and still is needed is affordable style in your home that you don’t have to worry about. The other part of the equation was how to give back. Finding the right organization to partner with was really important, so when my retail partner Overstock.com told me about the Wounded Warrior Project, it took all of five seconds for me to say, “Yes, how can I help?”

Together with my upholstery manufacturing partner, Handy Living, we jumped on board this opportunity with Overstock to be a part of something truly inspiring.

WWP truly believes in not only healing the physical scars but also the emotional and psychological ones as well. They believe in hope and I do too. The angelo:HOME hero chair was designed with that in mind. No hard edges, even in the legs--they are rounded along with soft, slightly curved arms and a great soft classic gray chenille fabric. A large, comfortable sitting chair without being too big in a room. Contemporary, classic styling that fits with any decor and an accent pillow in a classic stripe with a subtle yellow to signify the message of hope.

I am honored and humbled to be a part of this fantastic venture!

$50.00 from the sale of each chair goes directly to WWP, Inc.

Angelo- I SO wish I needed a chair. I would totally buy this one. sometimes it sucks to have a houseful of things you love... I'm so glad that you're part of this. The wounded warrior project is such a worthy cause. Thanks for helping out our heroes.

Will you be producing any more of this chair? Husband is a former marine and in love with this chair...found it on overstock.com but it shows out of stock and I see this blog post is 2 years old, so wasn't sure if there were any plans to produce more.

Love this chair...husband is a former marine, found these on overstock.com, but I see this blog post is old and the item is out of stock. Do you plan to produce anymore or sell these again in the future? They would be perfect in our living room.

Dawn-
Thank You for your comment! At the moment we are not planning on producing this chair. It was a one time deal with Overstock for the WWP. We may be doing something different in the future. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Best, -Angelo
