yes...


While blogger decided to have a hiccup, it also thought it would be a good idea to delete my last post. Maybe the peeps at Google are anti coffee and ice cream. If that's the case (hope not) there's SO much to re-think.

Here it is again.

It doesn't get any easier than this Affogato (Ice Cream + Espresso) RECIPE from food52. I've also done it with chocolate gelato as well as black walnut. Seriously delicious.

SERVES 4

1 pint vanilla gelato or ice cream (the good stuff!)
4 long shots espresso
Scoop the ice cream into 4 bowls. Pour a shot of espresso over each mound of ice cream. Serve quickly

One of my favourites is Deep Fried Mexican Icecream. Its heaven! (Any flavour of ice cream, crushed cookie crumbs or cornflake cereal,cinnanom 'n white sugar, whole beaten egg, drizzled honey, topped off with whipping cream.) Low Cal of course ... Wink
