Java, Chocolate, Mocha, Espresso, Coffee, Toffee, I'm really good with any of them. I like the colors as well. Can I get a rimshot!
Thank You, I'll be here all week...Literally.
The point I'm trying to make is that I love brown. Many of you know that I use a lot of color in my design work and sometimes it may seem like it's haphazard. I can assure you, that most of the time--it is not. Bold color choices work for me when I can give them something to be grounded in. A foundation that makes all other choices that much more exciting.
Brown, is that for me. It's so versatile. It can go from chic and modern to rustic and comfortable, all the way to mod and austere. It can do anything.
Remember back when we talked about the color Green? I mentioned how a friend noticed I used to wear mostly green in college. Around the same time, another friend I was out to dinner with observed that most of my food and beverage options were somewhere in the brown to tan color spectrum. She was worried that the brightly colored vegetables and fruits, that I heard are essential in one's diet, were missing. I assured her that sometimes the icing on my chocolate cake is brightly colored, as is most cotton candy. It did not go over very well.
I have since added many deep green leafy greens and brightly hued fruits to my dining repertoire, but the brown hues still call my name. Loudly. I have to answer. It would be rude not to, right?! -angelo
