Once, I met someone who said that they hated the color blue.
I vaguely remember it being an editor I used to work with at a magazine. I'm not sure if I'm mixing her up with someone else.
The memory of what this person said is clear.
"I hate it whenever I see blue used in anything. Ugh. It's like someone is trying to make me feel something good. On purpose. It's a pedestrian color."
Come to think of it, it must have been someone from my magazine years. They were not fun ones. Hugely educational and revealing, but not knee slappers.
Well, I am here to blue it up and make that person very, very disappointed. Actually, I think that probably happened a long time ago. This is just another chapter.
Personally, I love blue. In all forms.
It's the color I wear the most and the one I use in decorating and design all the time.
So many fantastic hues to work with.
It goes with anything and it partners so well with other colors and materials. It DOES make you feel something good...and that's a great thing. Especially when it comes to the way we feel in our home.
Enjoy some blue and know that is is anything BUT pedestrian.
In some circles, it even has the word "royal" in from of it.
