Kids, Happy Spring to you!
It's been awhile since I have been here on the ol' blog.
How have you been?
Life good? Are you feeling *Spring* yet?
On my end...I bought a house.
Baxter is to blame. He was not fond of city/loft living and missed having a yard.
It's a major renovation project.
It's a 1920's California English Tudor that has been pretty much gutted. Thankfully the kitchen, master bedroom and one of the baths is finished. So, the place is livable. Also, Baxter and I have two awesome workers here everyday in the house with us...tiling, painting, cutting, installing, rewiring, and pretty much restoring this undertaking into a home we want to spend some serious time in. Oh, and there are shenanigans also going on to the exterior of the home as well. I knew what i was getting into. I did. I still blame Baxter.
I promise to share the before and after experiences/pics, tips and disasters as soon an I can get my mind and budget around all that is going on.
In the meantime, I share with you a lovely Spring setting of a dining room that was shot in a location where the home was not under renovation. It was glorious to eat lunch in a place that didn't have a few layers of ceramic tile dust on everything.
One day, I know that our little home will be free of tile and wood dust and only regular dust will be everywhere. That day will be celebratory! There will be cake.
Oh, and your daily tip...mix your dining chairs. It makes for a more interesting room.
