Aside from cake, cookies are my other "go-to" when it comes to the perfect dessert.

And any cookie, or anything, that Beth bakes is a must devour. Her skills in the kitchen are glorious and the outcome is nothing short of delectable.

Her newest creation is HERE.

She's made a grain free cookie. I've had an earlier version of this and it was a great tasting cookie. In the universe of all cookies (grain included) it was great. Usually one says, "For a gluten-free..." there's a qualifier. Not in this case. Beth doesn't put it out there if it's just *meh*

Full disclosure, I think dried fruit in baked goods is the work of the devil. Or whatever evil force you believe in. Do not get me started on raisins.

Beth has used dried cherries in this recipe. It is a testament to how much I trust her baking that I would try this cookie. But let's be clear, if Beth went all rogue on me and used raisins...well, this would be a very different post.

You can check out the recipe from Beth HERE.

It is a testament to my fondness for you that you have received the raisinless version of my famous oatmeal raisin cookies.

If you ever bite into anything from me that contains raisins, call the authorities. It'll be my attempt to signal that I'm being held against my will.

sounds delicious!

I baked regular chocolate chip cookies for the Super Bowl!

(I'm not into raisins, either)
